There are two types of Guy Insulators used in LT Distribution , 11 KV and 33KV System.
- “A Type” guy insulator is used for 415V or 240V lines
- “C Type” Guy insulator is used for 11KV lines
- in 33KV lines two “C type” Guy insulators in series are used
The Minimum height of Guy Insulator should be 2.6m.
